Thanks to everyone who came out to support one of ARC’s Charities at the 10th Annual Relay for Life of the Sun Cities event on February 20th. We were glad to be back at Beardsley Park this year. ARC members stepped up by bringing their cars, money for the American Cancer Society, and food for the Valley View Food Bank. We had 32 cars—our most ever at this event. The final numbers aren’t in yet, but it looks like ARC raised over $1,300 at the event, with a total close to $4,000. The total day’s contributions were over $6,000, with a grand total for the relay just over $70,000. We were able to hold two benefit concerts and a bowling benefit, which helped increase our total. Looking forward to next February when we will be having our 11th annual Relay in Beardsley Park. Donations can still be made at www.relayforlife.org/suncitiesaz
